Re: Camber plates
get some k-sports they have plates. You could also always use camber bolts. same thing

Re: Camber plates
I like the Cuscos well enough, definitely beats turning the strut mount to adjust camber...

Re: Camber plates
I had my coil overs special ordered with them, rather then the stock camber plates... K-sport doesn't list anything with camber/caster adjustment for an mx3/BG protege/323 chassis..kulluminati777 wrote:Those look 10000x better then the stock ksport ones and wow they have alot of adjustibility. The ones in my car are listed for a 99-03 protege...

Re: Camber plates
Do your K-sports have adjustments at the knuckle?? If you can adjust camber at the knuckle then I suggest you turn your upper plates 90 deg so that they are adjusting caster and then get the desired camber you want down at the knuckle...kulluminati777 wrote:dang i guess ill have to find these. On my car I run 3 deg camber up front.. I am getting 5 deg caster.. This is using custom lower control arm bearings (yes bearings not bushings).. The rear bearings are offset adding caster as well.. plus I have Rx7 ball joints...
You should be able to get close to this alignment set up... It really helped my car with turn in...

Re: Camber plates
Are you sure the upper hole isn't oval so that you can make adjustments?? If not I would try camber bolts first to see if you can get the amount of camber you want...This will save you some money and work just as well...kulluminati777 wrote:no they dont have anything at the knuckle. sounds like very good ideas! Re: Camber plates
One downside to camber plates ... the added road noise its horrible but I dont care that much but I hear enough about it from the passenger seat -_-
I have Cusco plates on both cars and they are great. the AST coilovers have the top hole on the lower mounting points notched out its like an additional 3% of adjustment. I put in the top edge just for shits and giggles and i looked hella flush, should have taken a pic :/ oh well
If I was looking for ride and comfort I would go with MS strut mounts and lower camber bolts.

Re: Camber plates
Yeah, the noise was noticeably greater with the install for me too... Still, when I installed mine I had tons of issues with the suspension, clunking and what not. Now that it's all resolved, it sounds and feels so good in comparison I forget how soft stock used to feel.
