I'm considering it, I've found myself in a situation where I'm sitting on a lot more funds than I thought I would after buying up a bunch of stuff, not to mention I get paid tonight so I can toss some more moeny around on expensive stuff.

I think it's a mishimoto one, but I don't know for sure.

Hey BO, just found this link: http://www.clubprotege.com/forum/showth ... bo-upgrade

I've never seen a vj20 up close before but unless its identical to a vj14(at least the exhaust housing) it looks like I've got a vj14 exhaust housing. No luck on the finding what the other part of it is though.

So I have an update! Sorta, kinda, I don't really know haha. Getting closer to the BPT swap thanks to the Calgary guys. So far I've collected: Water pump, timing kit, IC piping, FMIC, full gasket set, a boost controller and a s--- ton of oil filters. Next up is an oil pump from the Mazda dealership as well as a PCV valve from a turbo MK1V Supra.

So I got quoted $380 for the oil pump from Mazda...that's basically what the entirety of the rest of the parts pictured cost me. Gonna look for something more reasonably priced.

Thanks Josh! If I beat you there i'll take some pictures of the FMIC with the Euro bumper.

Cool stuff Josh, I wanna see how that goes.

So brought the car to the house today.
ImageYanked the bumper, bumper support, front mount, IC piping and battery. FOund out the previous owner didn't even mount the FMIC, he just let the PVC piping hold it up.

Started labeling and preparing the wiring harness, after the first two wires I realized taht I didn't know what most of these components were ccalled(total newbie here haha) so I labeled them with the name of the picture I took on my phone and what it looked like. I estimate I'm maybe 75 percent of the way done the wiring harness and I've done a few vacuum lines but theres still a fair amount left to do.

As the car stands right now:

Probably some of the most productive 4 hours I've done in a while.

Finished off the harness today, also had a good look at what else was on and in the car.

The parts pile grows larger:

Also have been labeling all bolts and whatnot. Yanked the gauges and the pillar bar(and the interior neon but we won't talk about that. It came with a boost gauge, pyrometer, oil pressure meter and narrowband meter They're autometer gauges and i like how they look so I'll keep the boost gauge and the oil pressure meter. I've got an Innovate wideband coming in the mail to replace the narrowband and teh pyrometer won't go back in.
