Presso model designations?

Post by JayoM »

Mazda seemed to have quite a few different model designations for the Eunos Presso. The 1.8 alone seemed to go by several names - Fi-X, Hi-X, Fi-X SV, GT, GT-A, GT-X and some others.

Does anyone know the differences in these models? Trim? interior? The later models apparently had an extra couple of hp, but I'm not sure if that influenced the designations.

Just out of curiosity really!

I'm more interested in seeing that some Presso's came with a stock LSD. By the looks of the specs, mine wasn't one of the lucky ones. But it seems as though my Dad's old one might have had it  I'll have to check my own when I get a chance.
