This is stimulating conversation! Perhaps the wrong place for it though? I'm curious if we are still on here! I'll be in Vancouver this coming weekend for a few hours, and DO plan on stopping by CorkSport.

I am able, and very much willing to inquire about this product while in town. If I am to do so, I will need a list of CONFIRMED(I.E. 100% positive) buyers for the bars, so I can give them a solid number to work with.

Who is ready to belly up to the bar?(Pun very much intended)

   yeah the thread is getting a little left field, i love to talk cars though!

but yeah the list thats on the first page should be the 100% if someone else wanted to join that would be great as well, but i already know like 5 guys are going to be like "i want one" "where do i get one" after we got corksport to make the bars and its too late for them.....but i will ask the german community again for 100% confirm buys and i will also see if the uk wants any again but i doubt any of them do....does anyone have any ties else where?

JayoM posted that he is down for one as well, that makes 18 confirmed and 1 maybe. :)

If we get 2 more confirmed, we may just make this happen yet... If we could hit 30 total, we'd be SET.

kulluminati777 wrote:most cars coming out are mild. Its when the tuning arm of that manufacturer gets a hold of the chassis is when the best comes out. A civic is in the same boat as an mx-3 as what its supposed to be. by no means are either of them track cars. Pretty much no production car is track ready right off the lot. Even the DC2 and DC5 type R's are great vehicles but they were "designed to be a sporty coupe that appealed to a younger audience" before wearing there type-R badge.
Depends. TopGear did a review of the old and new TypeR Civic, and the newer one performed poorly compared compared to it's "dad", they all have to start somewhere, and depends on how it starts, affects on how it performs on the track. A good race car starts with a good base.

I've been told that the RSX is a poor track car compared to the older Integras (the RSX being known as an Integra in Japan). Newer doesn't mean better, and they sacrifice stuff to appeal to the masses.
kulluminati777 wrote:but who has ever auto X or been on a track with a 25mm front sway bar......ill wait.......
Gro Harlem, Taras, Mazdaracer and there was one more but I can't find who that it as the moment.

Also an interesting note on Mazdaracer's setup on a 1990 Protege
1999 Ford ZX2 25.4mm Front Sway Bar
Quickor 25.4mm Rear Sway Bar
Don't know if Protege/ZX2 sway bar would be compatible on an Mx3. Rear apparently not, but not sure on the front
kulluminati777 wrote:and i wasn't saying the cars are on the same level i just said the under steer is very noticeable by when u drive other cars with performance upgrades and let people with alot of weekend racing experience drive yours.
Gotta compare apples to apples. You can't compare to AWD or RWD because of their natural characteristics to understeer dramatically less than FWD. It's like complaining about torque steer or that you can't drift or do donuts....

Yeah, I'd say that'd be alot cheaper alright, that'd be great. Hopefully this gets off the ground!
