Re: Question about K8+m62 eaton clutched
OEM ECU's aren't capable of that, the only ones with switchable tables is Megasquirt and the like. Unless you put in 2 ECU`s and a huge switch, but that`s really not feasible, lol
If you do a proper setup, and get a rising rate FPR that connects to vacuum, it`ll compensate for it that way as and when there is boost, and with the clutched M62, you`ll only be getting a few PSI, so the OEM system should handle it ok...it`s no different than people running a turbo and using just an AFRP and FMU

that wont happen out of the clutched M62, and that is pushing the limits of the internals of that motor.

If you have your supercharger setup right with a bypass valve, it'll really be fine as that. When the S/C isn't working, you'll just be turning the impellars with no compression, not really much extra work compared to just spinning a pulley of a clutched S/C.Aziel wrote:but i want some good boost and when i want to make a long journey turn off the supercharger.

Re: Question about K8+m62 eaton clutched
Anything is possible, just probably more than it's worth spending. There's a few out there and they're saying around 200cv. The motor isn't that strong and had little support to make it worthwhile to put money into to handle more than that. Unless you're not legally allowed to where you're from, a KL swap would be the way to go if you want more v6 power

Re: Question about K8+m62 eaton clutched
The problem is that
I think it's possible it goes through a lot of things
and money,legalization is around 2,000 euros, after inspections B more 250 euros + motor and the rest of the work.

Aziel, are u portuguese ?
K8 :: 136.8 bhp---160 nm---108.0 whp---118lbs/torque

2 languages answer :
Aziel, exchanging the K8 for a KLDE or KLZE does not cost that much. As a matter of fact, it does not have any legal expense because only when you open the engine and check it's cam gears can you be certain it's not a K8. I think that if you really want to get 250bhp on the MX3, you might not be thinking about having the car ALL legal, because legally you will not be able to have the 2500cc engine on the car with homologation

Mas os niveis de CO na ipo são mais altos(mais do que o parametro minimo premitido entre 0.2 a 0.6)
Re: Question about K8+m62 eaton clutched
I wouldnt run more then 5psi on the stock inturnals. Plus with 5 psi your not going to c a lowering of fuel eco id say you may see gains as long as your not on it all the time... Makes it not so hard in engine when accelerating. (put a 4 psi turbo on a geo once and it increased the gas mileage... my 2 cents...
