so the main bearing in the transmission... does anyone know if it is different diameter between G series transmissions? I'm so transmission illiterate, and I went through the workshop manual, found the bearing, but the shop who has the transmission, says the bearings they've tried are different diameter than what's on it.
So, for example the MX-3 trans vs MX-6/probe/ect, is there a difference in bearing diameter, or are they all the same?

I am fairly confident that it's the primary shaft bearing.

Re: Help with the primary shaft bearing!
If you're speaking K series transmissions, they be the same.
If you're speaking B series, aside from the BP G series, they are all the same as any car that came with a B of any sort (aside from BP)
