RHD MX-3...Anyone else going to pick one up?
Re: RHD MX-3...Anyone else going to pick one up?
I`m thinking about importing a Skyline R34. Anyone know of any solid import sites?

Actually you can import an r34 or any car you want, it doesn't mean it had to be onthe road. If you want to get an R34 as a track car, I don't believe it's a problem since your not insuring or registering it. I'm pretty sure you can legally drive it on the road for a year, than after that is has to be taken off the road.

What you CAN also do is reg it as a KIT car IF you bring it over in a couple of crates.... So you get them to take off the bumpers... interior and put it back together over here! get a new VIN and WAHMO!! I heard of a couple people doing that!
And you can actually get an R33 right now and Reg it since they made them halfway through 1993! I have seen 2 already with Ontario plates... I want one!

The 15 year rule is measured from the date of manufacture. So cars that were manufactured in Oct of 93 are legal right now.
94' RS/GS/MS/CF Monster Turbo...coming soon.
93' GS SE, the Black Beast, the former love of my life...soon to be gutted and crushed.
94' GS, black on black, now in several small pieces...and one large crushed piece.
2007 Mazda3 GT Sport --- super fun
2004 Honda RC51 --- Lost forever to some theavin' bastard

This is the site I've been looking at. Seems pretty legit.

What do people think about the Evo's? I looooove lancers.

Re: RHD MX-3...Anyone else going to pick one up?
I've had neighbors with RHD cars throughout the years, most brought them to the states when they immigrated, although a few bought them from from immigrants.
I had a very kind Japanese family for neighbors once, they had 2 RHD cars, both were older Toyotas, and definitely RHD.
So this thread tells me that if you have a RHD vehicle, and no turn signals, you are legal as long as you post a sign on the car?!
That sounds safe.
