Why would someone actually choose a car or a motor based on the sound it makes?

That's actually a pretty poor build. Almost thew up when I saw the Phamtom Grip "LSD" than he only got a 14.2 1/4 mile. Mx-3's can do that or better, even Mx-6's! mx3autozam's Mx-3 did 99mph in the quarter. Than he proceedes to show that he's doing a turbo setup for it too. If you're doing 14's in a V6 festiva, it's not the motor, unless it's very weak. It's either the setup, traction, or the driver. Slapping a turbo isn't a fix for that.

Ever see the Shogun Festiva? Was a tuned production version using the V6 out of a SHO Taurus, mounted in the trunk...

Thread revival I know, but more power to you man. If you can do this, and fully intend to do it, I'll definitely be following your worklog. A built K8 is in my future too, for the exact same reasons.
