tranny question

hey how does the stock 4 cyl 5 spd hold up to more power? when you guys are making serious modifications to your cars, do you end up having to use a different tranny? or do you have it built?

Which car you have?If you have 1.6 the best solution is to go with g series..

yes, I have the 1.6 sohc, but I was tossing an idea around in my head and wanted to know if the tranny would hold up. these guys running 12's in the 1/4, what tranny are they running?

As far as i know this tranny(F series) can hold around 150hp..It would recommended to upgrade the clutch kit

A BP powered car has a G series transmission, and its reliable upto around 300 HP.
