i was on egay and was wondering why rx7 coilovers are cheaper that mx3 coilovers. so was wondering if these would work. http://www.ebay.com/itm/GODSPEED-86-91- ... 5890bc8fc6

Check out the specs between the rx7 and the mx3 and you'll see differences. Next question..
Go to a site like RockAuto.com and see what they list for both vehicles.

i just figured rx7 were more "high end" so the parts would be more expensive

You can buy high end coilovers for the MX-3. They are around £1300, so thats about $2000
to you lot I would imagine.

generally speaking the more popular a car is the cheaper the parts. Just look at the VAG group suspension its very cheap for quality coilovers.

Usually, the more that a product sells the cheaper it becomes.

True didnt even think of that. Being that most civic drivers can do loads to their cars for pocket change.

Well take Altezza's for instance they originally were like 350.00 a set when the first proto run was sold. over the years they have dropped from that to 275, 225, 200, and now they are what 100 bucks. The MX3 is a niche car, not many have them and even fewer purchase aftermarket for them.
