Best replacement wiper blades?

What are other people using for replacement windshield wiper blades? I've been using trico neoform beam blades for years and they're awesome but before I go out and buy more neoforms, was wondering if there was anything brand new out there in the last year that are notable and I should take a look at? I gotta buy new wipers for all 4 vehicles before winter!!

I use the Rain X blades. they are sleek and work very well. I have been using them on all my cars for the past 3 or so years.

Almost every blade I've bought over the last 10 years have sucked particularly Michelin brand so now I buy the cheap refills and swap them out every 6 months.

FYI you can fit a 28" blade on the hatch, it works much better then the stock size.

I had good luck with neoforms. In this case you get what you pay for

anyone have problems with the blade hopping? im lucky to get 2 or 3 weeks before any blades ive tried start to hop on the windshield.

The hopping has more to do with a seized wiper arm, I think. Lift it and wiggle and lube and crap until it lifts smoothly. Mine hop too

Guys,
If your wiper(s) is just noisy on EITHER the upstroke OR the downstroke (not both), then there is probably an easy, simple fix that will take a few minutes to do.
Imagine your leading edge of the noisy blade. What is happening is that the edge is trying to "dig in" to the screen (an exaggeration, I know, but it is an illustration). If you twist the wiper arm (not the blade) so that the blade has a reduced angle of attack to the screen, this will (in 90% of cases) cure your problem.
Get yourself a small adjustable spanner, and some rag or card to protect the paint on the wiper arm.
If your noise is on the upstroke, look along the arm, from the wiper end to the pivot. Put the spanner on the arm and twist the arm anticlockwise - about 10 degrees at a time.
Try your wipers - you'll probably have to only do it two or three times.
Obviously, if your blade is noisy on the downstroke, then twist the arm clockwise.

If you have a weak design, the edge will just fold over, too.

thats what i use too! i find the refills are what works best!

I've been trying a bunch of blades. I used to have the dual-blade Canadian Tire brand on the Mx-3 and they worked great ironicly enough and actually just replaced them with refills every year. I also remember fitting a longer blade on the hatch wiper, worked great.

The Xterra I use the Reflex Hydrids all the way around, I miss the intermitent wipers that the Mx-3 had on the rear (the 04 Xterras have it, mines an 03 ) The truck I'm really picky since I need something to not only work in the rain, but to work flawlessly in the worst of winter storms and also for mud. I was anti-reflex for the longest time, had many people suggest against them, and the one time I had to drive my buddy's Lexus to the shop and it peeled off when I went to unstick it by hand off the windshield, wasn't impressed. I tried the Teflon lined ones and they worked pretty good. My major thing is getting snow, ice and mud build up in the spring arms that cause the blades to not wipe properly. The Teflon ones had a Teflon rubber protector around it to stop material from getting in, but it didn't last that long, and the spring arms inside would just break and collapse on itself from the pressure of the spring in the wiper arm after about a year, even worse if you have the helper spring (I had one on my rear wiper on the X). I decided to give the Reflex Hybrid a try on the rear first, the smallest one (16" i think) just fits and clears beautifully and I really like the extra sweeping area of the longer blade. The fronts I moved to R-Hs in the front mid winter last year in a drive from Petawawa to Niagara. I haven't replaced them yet, but I'll gauge them depending on how they perform once the snow hits. I pulled a Jeep and an Xterra out of the mud about 2 weeks ago and they still worked great, so they're still working good.

I had bought a set of tripped-edged blade refills before I got the R-H's, but they didn't fit my wipers, so those are just sitting in a drawer in my toolbox at home.
