My unusual hobby...

Post by Calg_93GS »

so when im not working on my car or computer, i have a bit of an obscure hobby that ive been into for a few years now. i do ceremonial naval ropework. its a bit of a challenge at times as some of the knots can get very complex (ive worked with upwards of 25 lines at once, can make you go a little crosseyed after a while lol) anyways, i just completed a presentation paddle for a change of command parade that im attending this weekend and i figured i would share a few pics of it as im pretty proud of it :D

Very good work. Had a guy when I was on board a ship doing some thing similar. We all got custom bands made out of jute and waxed string for our Tilly hats.

I know you believe that you understand what you think I said but I'm sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.
