Where to buy bolt-in, underhood fuses??

Hi everybody,

Been away for a loong time, (during which I've healthily beefed up my Mazda fleet - see sig ). I recently revived the MX-3 and need to purchase a blue (40amp?) fuse that bolts-in under the hood. Does anybody know the one I'm talking about & how/where to get them? One of my favorite dealers said they could get them in, (special order), but wound up sending a 60a, push-in type & I've yet to hear back about the mix-up. I've got some other things that need taken care of, but that fuse fried when during a mishap when the last 2.5L went in & I'd like to replace it before doing anything else. Well yeah, if I lived anywhere near any other MX-3's, much less dead ones in a junkyard, lol.

There are only a handful of types of fuses, doesn't need to be an MX-3. MX-6, Protege, 323, 626 should all suffice.

Only 40amp? The bolt-in fuse on my parents '90 626 was an 80amp, easilly purchasable at Canadian Tire, not sure about in the US, but it should be easy to find, it's a standard fuse.

There was an extra, unused space in my sister's prelude engine bay fuse fox, so for her amp, I got one of those bolt-in fuses and used that for a super-clean install. They have them in many ratings, hers I used a lower one of course. It's been many, many years, but it was probably a 20 or a 30amp bolt in fuse.

My fuse is melted, dirty & whatnot, so a bit hard to make out, lol. The dealer told me the the only bolt-in he found for MX-3's is a black 60amp.. I guess this must be what I need/only one of its' type under the hood?

Ok, I found the fuse cover - it's the 100A Main that I'm in need of & the original was blue..
