I finally got one !!! (questions)

I baught a 93 GS blaze red- hot little car.<BR>Its awesome. Now, a few questions.<BR>Its a 5 speed- it works correctly but seems real stiff. It shifts into all the gears ok, does'nt make any noises or anything, just seems stiff.<BR>Also, the engine seems to be in good shape, 120,000 miles, but the valves are kinda loud when idleing, is this normal ??<BR>Any help would be appreciated.
