Front bumper removal

Post by Meanie »

I had an unfortunate mishap with another object which pushed in the drivers side of the bumper about a half inch. Upon viewing underneath at the bolts and mounting bracket/plate, I could see the mounting bracket/plate was bent inward. Therefore, I want to remove the bumper and bend the mount back to it's original position.

How difficult is it to remove the front bumper without making this an all day affair?

Thank you

Not very, but if you haven't done it before you should plan on doing it on a day where you have some time. A couple of hours at least. it should only take you 10 to 15 minutes to take the bumper off. pretty straight forward.

Just check out the online manuals... body section is S.

The hardest part is probably the screws against the inside of the bumper support, I use a little ratchet with a phillips on it.

Ones behind the signals require some monkey arms too. All in all its pretty simple though.
