Farmers insurance are thiefs!

Post by mitmaks »

My mom has been rear ended in her car almost 2 weeks ago. We have Farmers insurance on our 3 cars and our house. Guy rear ended her, cops showed up and after ~1hr finally let everyone go. Farmers supposed to handle this case but its been almost 2 weeks and we haven't heard nothing from them. My mom is driving another car at the time while her car is parked wrecked. We have been customers of Farmers for over 12 years and I just can't describe how angry I am with their incompetence and lack of customer support.
Is it our economy that affects big businesses like this so they think they can treat customers like s--- or is there some other reason customers are taken for granted?

Your Insurance agents should call them for you. Anyway, Insurance gives you one thing and one thing only. The right to sue (them).

I know you believe that you understand what you think I said but I'm sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Hah.. ha.. hahahahah.... You think thats bad? Try having your car broke into when your out of state, they ruin the whole interior, steal all your stuff, stereo spare parts, and mutilate your moonroof in the process and for icing on the cake tell you to drive it back to home so an agent can look at it. Said agent calls in an "investigator" who deems its fraudulent and says you did it all, so they can drop the case and its no longer disputable b/c the cop**ahem Pi$$burghPDahem** were to lazy to come out to make a physical report and did it over the phone so theres no evidence my car was ever broke into says that fat tub of lard from Travelers. Thats after my father and my grandparents all used Travelers even on our company accounts.

I recommend Progressive they've always been good to me. I got $500 out of a broken taillight and some scratched paint when my ex-wife backed into something in my Explorer. And that was After the deductible. They just wrote the check, with the 'option' of having it repaired in their shop. Picked up a taillight for $17 at the Pick-n-Pull. Thanks for the 500 bucks honey, now go off with your trashy boyfriend!

Question.. if she was the one rear ended.. I am assuming it was not her fault. Therefore the other persons insurance is supposed to take care of the matter no!?

Yes, it should. However our insurance company Farmers would not release information to us.
