Ontario MX-3 Meet Kingston 14/15th May. 'NEED INPUT PLEASE'

I don't think I can do the 16th of May, I'll still be in Pet, but if I'll be in Kingston that weekend, I might just do that.

May 24, well, it's May24 weekend, no clue what's going on that weekend.

I'm going to say currently: 25% chance to make it on the 16th, 25% chance of making itMay24, and 50% chance that both days won't pan out at all...

There's a 100% chance if you don't show I'm going to haunt you for the rest of your life. Be it on MX3 or the other sites you lurk around in.

Depends, I'd perfer not to go to the meet in the X, cause my issue is that'll May24 is my first weekend in Kingston, so I won't have the Rx with me, I'll of travelled from Pet that week more likely that week so I'll need the truck to bring my kit (and others) down. No would could I even bring my stuff alone in the Rx. So I'd have to go back to Niagara, swap the truck for the car, do the meet, go back to Niagara, swap back to the truck, than head back to Kingston; I don't want to have the 8 there as my DD and subject her to all those short runs within the base....

BTW, Dan, you can change the dates in the title itself, lol

Mike you should buy or build a car dolly then you could tow the RX. Having two vehicles and not have a steady residence is tough.

I'd love a dolly, but I'd need one with retractable ramps like the U-Haul, and they're the only ones that I've found like that. Also I can't get a straight answer towing a RWD on a dolly.

Towing a standard was never a problem? Put the car in neutral and tow. What are the possible issues?

That's exactly what I'm thinking, but it's the lubracation of the trans, that it doesn't do it except from the input from the motor, not on the output on the driveshaft. I'm going to PM my buddy at the Mazda dealership now, see what he says

Good day folks, time is getting near. I've had a luke warm response to this post so far. Some people say they're down for sure others, no comment as of yet. I honestly think this could be a real good time and possibly (with people selling/parting out) our last chance for a predominantly MX3 meet. EVERYONE pm, message, facebook, MSN or what ever past members please. I think if we give this till MAY 2nd that will be the cutoff date that this meet either flys or gets cancelled.
If your name is in the first post and your a no show please let me know. If your attending please tell me and I'll insert your name in the first post. John, let me know soonest if there's response from your end. I personally would like to see us get together one more time. Last year was a good time. Dan

Ok this is my final effort then I'm cancelling this. I'm not mad and I'm not sad I just thought this was what a lot of you people would want. I've seen the stupidest of posts get 14 different people responding and this post gets like 5 people responding. So if anyones asking we all know how to blow up a K8 but organizing an actual meet isn't of any interest. Baffles me.

For meets, you gotta be firm, but you're right, there's little interest posted in this thread. Maybe the wrong section (needs to be in the Ontario section maybe?). Next one I got planned will be at the end of July, but the way it's going, I don't know if I'll be doing any next year...
