need answer quick

Post by Hobbyist93 »

okay was out just messing around in the mx today and i found a black wire on my drivers side comes up out of the carpet right next to drivers side tilt lever... it is cut with black tape around it so i did a little searching and it seems like it connects maybe as a ground to my seat rail was wondering if any clues as to what it is...? also when i took the black tape off and tried to touch the two together they sparked big time and consistently.... any help would be great....

thats the seatbelt switch, just ignore it.

and next time you see a loose wire, don't just short it to see what happens... thats a good way to ruin something.

The seatbelt light will stay on until you do up the belt. The wire is a part of that system.
