So I've been tearing down the DE and I'm bpred so I figured i would post a pic or 2. I was hoping to already have the engine rebuilt and ready to be dropped in but life had its own plan and then I had to lose my job of course so it's behind schedule but I'll get there eventually. Also figured i'd post a pic of my other project (it's a honda, sorry).

the box is holding my cam caps. I have a lot of other parts bagged and labeled in a cabinet as well. I have parts everywhere. It was worse last week, I had an 87 rx-7 torn apart everywhere haha. but now i can focus on my mx-3 and my motorcycle.

I do agree with you about the interior, thats why I'm trying to get the paint off so I can go back to the stock look. Some days it looked good to me but most of the time it was my style. Neither are the euro tailights haha. All in time I guess.

paint can be a pain to remove to be honest do what i do and spray a coat of krylon primer on it let it dry then sand it down a bit then krylon pain of your choice over it. ive done this on my sentra cause the previous owner made the interior hunter green when my sentra is black. it looked horrible so i painted it red.

You've got lucky with some of those parts! The mx3 sills, pedals look well, is that an srd e brake? Also the dash style too, we don't get that in RHD :( the White isn't too bad IMO. The clear markers draw more attention to them, I think red markers blend in better with red. But this is all pretty pedantic, sweet mx3 :)

So the de hasn't been touched in quite a while. I got a new job and its been taking a lot of my time. Slowly getting back to messing with it as the weather warms up. The first nice day I brought it out of hibernation this year someone pulled a hit and run on my passenger front fender and door. Got another fender but it needs painted so I'm going to get the whole car painted. So now I'm on the hunt for oem side skirts, euro front bumper (and tow hook if I can) , projector headlights, power folding mirrors if I'm really lucky, and maybe a cf hood. Slowly changing my interior back to black instead of the in-your-face white paint job lol. Oh and switching back to stock taillights. If anyone has any leads on the items above, let me know, I'm going to start buying parts next month.
