New to this forum, but not the the MX

Post by MCG89 »

Hey all, I'm new to this forum. I have a 96' MX-6 M-edition I just about got done to my taste. cammed and nitrous and slammed :D. This next Sunday I'm picking up a 92' MX-3 GS. I've always wanted a MX-3 after I got the MX-6 lol. I've had my MX-6 for 6 years now, and have had my DD 2010 MAZDASPEED 3 for about 6 months, I love MAZDA :D. Supposedly the MX-3 has had its engine rebuilt 20,000 miles ago, its primered, but used to be white. I'll keep it white for sure though. I think my plans with this one is a few upgrades and some boost :D I'll keep everyone updated! But one question is on these cars, anything I need to certainly look for or is it pretty much going to be like looking for things I would on my MX-6 that could be wrong?
DD: 2010 MAZDASPEED 3; intake, turbo back exhaust, front lip, TSW 18" wheels, HIDs, Tint
Project: 1996 MAZDA MX-6 M-edition: cammed KLDE heads, KLG4 block, bolt ons, nitrous, slammed, 17x9
Soon to be project: 1992 MAZDA MX-3

Welcome to the site. I own an MX6 AND MX3 and a lot of similarities exist at least with the engine. Rust ahead of the rear end trailing arms is a big issue for some, other than that our automatic trans are a little weak. Car is lighter and has differnt gearing in the trans so expect higher revs on the hwy. Other than that the MX3 is a great car with a lot of possibilities. Cheers

I know you believe that you understand what you think I said but I'm sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.
