Video: How to remove rear tail lights.
I know it's easy but a forum member was confused on how to do it. So here is my simple video for that member:

Or you could just slide them off the tabs instead of pulling. Push them towards the outer end and they'll come off much easier.
Nice informative video though!

Re: Video: How to remove rear tail lights.
my trick is to hold my palm on the inside (key hole) side of the light and push while hitting my wrist with my other hand. usually comes off with 1 or good wacks

the correct way is to tap them towards the outside of the car with your palm, i'll make a video if i have to, but my car has 2-3 feet of snow on it, so don't make me!

i totally forgot there was already a video how to do this.

"palm action"
that's all you need, so tie that together with your screw removal part and the palm action, and you have the correct way of removing tail lights

Re: Video: How to remove rear tail lights.
LOL... Do i need to re-film "palm action" WITH the screw removal as part of the video?
It does kind of feel like you might break it, if you havent removed it before.
I had long nails the first time i took it off. It was just figuring out which way
those tabs pull away from the holder they are in. (I filmed that AFTER I took the finger nails off.)
I will admit, it feels MUCH easier after you do it one time AND without fingernails... LOL
