well, today I am making the first step towards getting a klze, there is a jdm engine shop that says they have one in stock, of course I want to make sure its a true klze not a k8/kf or a de, whats a sure fire way to spot a true klze, i remember a thread saying theres a stamp or something, idk. any help would be greatly appreciated, I'll be heading out to take a look at it in a few hours

Re: klze question
You're nowhere near prepared.
I'm sorry man, but I'm going to mock you a bit.
Did-ja think to look in the FAQ? (Frequently Asked Questions?)
How about this thread, the TOP THREAD:
FAQ: IDENTIFYING A KLZE
http://www.mx-3.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=56280" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Cams - KL31
Heads - KL31-101 KL31-1A1
Straight neck
flat top pistons
no egr
not gunked to hell
Or, possibly a DE w/ flat top pistons, another varient... which you don't want to pay for.

Re: klze question
Lol not gunked to hell is the most important thing, because if it's caked with sludgery goodness you'd have been better off with a DE in good condition
