wow... in Australia there's stacks of jobs! you can start working at 13, with basic wages of about $6/hr, which go up as your age/job requirements go up... it's onyl hard to find a job at the end of the year, when all the Uni (college) students and highschool students take all the menial jobs... Finding (and keeping) jobs is pretty easy, regardless of age here!

Why hate him (us) if YOU live in a shitty place? It'd be more realistic to hate yourself, or hate your location

I make $18/hr in summer with zero required education. Many many jobs that pay more or better just for holding a road sign or sitting at a desk, or in a truck, but I like the labour...

Believe me: I do hate Miami with a passion, and I've been trying to get out of here for years now. But it's very difficult to get the money for moving when a "good" job, right now, pays about $8/hr, PART TIME...

When I was working as a Directv technician (the "good old times", believe it or not), I regularly did 120 Hr weeks. I NEVER got more than $300/wk. They always made "mistakes" with the paycheck. Ended up suing them (actually joining a class action suit against them), just for the lawyers to name a few of the plaintiffs as "representatives" of the bunch, and reach a settlement for less than 15% of the debt.
