Well this is my mx3. Its a '93 1.6 sohc. Everything is stock except for the seats and the wheels, both of which I want to get rid of. I got it about three weeks ago, with about 218k on the clock. The previous owner said the engine was rebuilt, but I've been doing some research and the first thing I want to do whenever I get some extra money is to do a Bp swap.

Hey Gio, great to see the car. Updating those seats is going to be a ton better.. I wish I knew you needed a better dash, I just threw one away. Good luck with the build.
We all want to be fast and look cool. Cool changes but fast never does.
Dash swap isn't too intimidating, I'd just give it a shot. GL with the body work....
BP plans? Just the swap, or perhaps a build?

Ryan, man It is definitely a project! And its my 3rd mx3 in my lifetime haha. I definitely dont want to let this one go though. The dash I can do myself because I took apart my first one to put in an aftermarket kenwood radio in it. I'm wondering if its possible to put the other style dash on instead. the one with the round vents for the a/c. I'm looking into getting one of those becaseu i just like that style better!
The 94 dash does NOT just bolt in. I put one in my 93 but it took tons of work. If you want, you can give me a call and I will let you know what it took to get it in there.

Welcome. There's dash swap post here already. Check those out as well, lots of good info. Oh and I happen to like those wheels, they just need a different paint scheme.

I know you believe that you understand what you think I said but I'm sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.
Thanks for the welcome Daninski. I searched the appearance threads but only found a thread removing the '94 dash. Probably missed it! I'll have another look at it. I was thinking about changing the color scheme on the rims, but if anything, I would have wanted the chrome lip, or the powder coated gray. if I dont get the trade I'm hoping for, I may just stick to that!
Unfortunately not yet man. Only thing I've been able to do is put on a rear mud flap and clean it up a bit. I have to work on my idling issue tomorrow because its idling high at 2000 to 2500 rpms still. I may need a new IAC vavlve. Next week i'll probably hit up a parts car a couple miles away to get the dash. Pics of that will be up when i finish. I hate being broke with dreams But I'm getting there, don't count me out yet
