Well I figured it was about time that I made a worklog.. I've got a 96 dohc 1.6

Have done a few things to it since buyying the car a year and a half ago.

This was my driveway when i first got the mazda.. lol

Still not to sure about the blue lip... figured i would try out that look for a bit until i get my new bumpers

Took the bp+t out of the mx and swapped it into a 95 escort wagon. ;)

Looked better with the big red X's... j.k Not feelin the blue lip or blue wire covers. Other than that, it looks pretty clean. Any plans for this beast?
Took the bp+t out of the mx and swapped it into a 95 escort wagon. ;)

It looks good. I'm not a fan of the lip, either. I like how those halos light up all the way around. What springs do you have?

B&G springs... rides nice and smooth..




Alright so here are a few pics of the work i did today. I painted my rear drums blue, they were quite rusted and looked like crap. I FINALLY installed my lower tie bar! I bought it last year and decided i was too lazy to install it right away. And I also painted a little bit of my front bumper to match the lip. I am kind of messing around with some diff colours just for fun really, i will be doing a body kit this summer so i figured why not mess around with it now. Anyways here's the pics!

Wow that bumper looks pretty, unique. Where did you find it? First I've seen one like that. I might add, it seems as though you need some side skirts to complete the look.

Looking good. ( a nice big intercooler would fill that gap in the front nicely. )
