03:30am and here I am at Work

OK back in on mids again. It's 01:50est and I've been told I'm done working shifts. I start day shift on Weds working Monday to Friday. We're getting 17 of the new J model Hercules aircraft and they need squadron safety section, policy and proceedures developed so that's my new job. We follow alll the same rules for safety and health as the civilian world. I'll be starting at square one so I guess I'll have my work cut out for me. Good thing is I'm fully conversant with health and safety issues so I have a good back ground to draw from. My kids are happy I'm off shifts and my significant other is happy as well. I'll have more free time to work on the car as I won't be tired all the time from working 13 hour shifts. Coming on shift today I never saw this one coming.

Here it is my last night shift possibly for the rest of my life. Been kinda slow, aircraft are ready for next days activities and I'm just getting the hand over report finished. Man I hate working mid nights. Going home for a few hours sleep then go for a cruise in the 92 MX-3. I don't come back to work till Weds.

I've been on nights the last week, OMG what a fakin PITA... I realised while workin these stupid hours that the day is split into three parts: Work, sleep, and play time. Normally, people sleep, lets say from 23-7, then they work from 8-17, then play from 5-23. My play time is generally still the same but sleep and work are switched. Work 23-7 and sleep 8-16... MIND FREAK

Its so bad that you have to go at such hour to your office to do work.well in my office there is nothing like this.i go at 9:00 am as usual.
