Analyzer Results

Post by qcook »

Here our my test results from a 4 gas exhuast analyzer on m 92 mx-3 ZE.

Idle
HCs - 1722ppm
CO% - 10.90
O2% - 0.9
CO2% - 9.8

A/F Ratio - 10.5:1

The results do not change with pcv unhooked.

IMO this excessively rich. I notice the complaints about fuel economy and this swap. But something is really wrong here. Im still running my K8 ECU but i am in the process of getting it chipped. I curious to what the results will be after.

Any suggestions?

Yeah, that's alot. There are threads about the right ECU, and VAF combo. The best easy way to do it is to get a probinator chip. The best way is an engine management system. The cheapest one is MegaSquirt. You can find all of that info here, too. Good luck!
I love my MegaSquirt and Spark!
