WorkLog 4 MX-3Chic in MS Paint is dry and car is HOME! YAY!

here is my progress so far: (UPDATE) CAR IS PAINTED and She is finally home:













I still have not been able to get the paint done yet. They said it has been to cold.
It wouldnt have a shine if we did it cold. Next week is supposed to snow. Arg!

update: it is snowing! I love the snow but damn i want to paint my car.

LOL..... i LOVED the 70's! Im doing this car like i feel. (A little wild on the inside)
The doors were a bit tougher then i thought they'd be.
I got a head ache in the first 5 minutes of the drivers door.
I should have started with the passanger door, cuz you can tell which
door i started with. One door has a handle and the other has a hole for your hand.
So they were both a little different. They turned out much better then i thought.
I can't wait to get them in the car. Next to the seats, they look really good.
I need to post an MOV on youtube with 70's jazz playing in the background..... LOL!

IMHO, the interior would look good with just the printed part covered, like your doors, and black carpet. Like, if your seats were leather on the outside, and Zebra on the inside. I'm not a fan of crazy dashboards, but it's not my car! I'm looking forward to pics when it's done.. Maybe I'll like it.

it doesnt look as crazy as u think..... dash is last cuz i actually wanted white, but there is no damage to dash, so i may not cover it at all.

I think the Zebra print will suit you. Now just wear your Zebra bikini and I'll bet no one will have anything but praise. I can tell you one thing. That print is far nicer than some of the painted interiors I've seen. You could try using the zebra print on the dash by making a dash cover for just the top of the dash. You'd need to use a non slip backing like that stuff for RV's that stops the dishes from rolling around. I love white as well. I think it's the best colour for the MX-3 IMO. All in all I give you two buns up.
