steering wheel rubs on hand

so my recently bought mx-3's steering wheel has a cover on it
when i take it off the real steering wheel is all rubbery and loose and the particles rub off on my hand
is this common?

sounds like glue or whatever is left from a cover...get some wax and grease remover and try to take off all the goo.

the rubbery looseness is fairly common. i dunno about the rubber particles tho, i dont have that problem, but the looseness i do.
