Euro license plates?

So maybe this is some trend I haven't caught on to, but more and more I'm seeing guys who have some euro license plate showing in either their wind shield or the rear window, lol, and this is North America! So my question is: wtf?

I don't get it either, sure euro plates tend to look better mounted to a bumpers because of their size, but there's no point in putting it on your dashboard.

that trend has been around for a long time... mostly with the euro tuners... but I've seen more jdm tuners running around with them recently too... I've also seen a bunch of japanese plates (which I never used to see)...

I think it's kind of pointless to just drive around with it... now if you are at a show or something it might be cool
