anyone ever black out the healights?
is it even legal and does it make it look good? stock headlights ofcourse

also, i assume it reduces the amount of light that passes through? is the safety factor changed dramatically?

You're basically placing a layer/film of something over them, obviously it will change the light output. Don't think they're legal, people get a hard time about tinted corners and tails, I can't imagine headlights.

u can get headlight covers for the stock headlights that are tinted out
GTS makes them. Canadian tire sells them...

just get a set of H4 headlamps and black them out from the inside... :welder:

to answer the OP: you should check your local laws to see if black covers are even legal... and IMO I think it looks very tacky...

and my solution isn't exactly cheap or easy... black projectors would be another good option

Your in Ontario, so not legal if you drive the car after dusk and before dawn.

I think it makes it look ugly. Lots of mustangs, civics and cavaliers have them up here...rice.

naw i won't
but i did buy my car with all other lights blacked out, it looks pretty good since the cars that midnight purple, but the headlights might be too much
