Just a quick post to introduce myself here - I'm 23 from the UK, and though I've held my license for over 6 years, due to the collective expense of university education here and the high costs of buying and running a car, I unfortunately had to choose the former over the latter! That said, I wanted to save up for something a bit special and so bought myself a black 1.6 MX3 last weekend, which seems in pretty good condition - both mechanically, and superficially.
However, not having had a car before I'm currently immersing myself in as much reading material related to car mechanics in general, as well as the service manual available on this site (for which I'm very grateful for!). I'm probably not too into the whole 'modding' thing as such, but it'll be nice to know how to keep it in a good condition, and so I've a good feeling that I'll be using this forum a lot
