My berfday

Post by 93vtecklr »

So on this most blessed of days I turn 25. I'm going to buy the dvd box set of Matlock, relax in front of the tv with a good crossword, and maybe try my hand at crocheting a shawl. My neck will be warm, and I'm going to buy depends and a cane. A cool one, with flames, like Dr. House. Oh, that's my alarm going off, I have to go drink my Ensure and watch Daily Planet. With many drinks to be consumed as well!!!!

Yeah. Happy B-day! I don't even remember my 25th. I think I was racing Mountain bikes Semi-pro at the time, X-country & Downhill, and rode a bike taxi during the week (I think I was about 25 when I rode for SuperBowl XXX, which was about 80 miles/ day for about $1,000/ day), partying afterward. I actually drank Ensure to supplement my diet! I had a cane, but used it in ways.. nevermind.. I crocheted metal (not lying, I made jewelry). So, you're on the right track.
I'm 36, and can still out-party you kids!

Happy B-day, kid! I should have mentioned something I learned, 93vtecklr, before it was too late; one time in New Orleans, I knew I'd be drinking alot (9 days), so I developed a drink for the occasion; Vodka/ Gatorade. That way you replenish your electrolytes, get some carbs to burn, and decrease the hangover, since Vodka burns the cleanest. Forget Red Bull, and that kind of crap. There's too much refined sugars, and Taurine, and junk that will tear you up.
And when you're done, take aspirin before bed, and more Gatorade.
