1-pan or 2-pan auto trans for a 93 GS

Post by quadsquad »

I bought a replacement auto trans for my 93 GS but instead, got a 2-pan tranny that is suppose to fit a 93-97 MX3,626,Probe. it has additional connectors and no throttle cable. Is this compatible or do i have to ship it back to the vendor in canada? This is my wife's car and I have no intentions of doing the atx to mtx swap. The original tranny lasted 177k miles with her driving style.

After reading all of the tranny related threads I guess this is not a full direct bolt-on. I will have wiring , mounts and ECU issues. The folks at Tigerjapanese.com told me it will work. Dangit! Paid $280 shipping charges from Canada to California for a piece of *#@?

Another good tranny info website, I can find our tranny info with pictures under Ford
