4cyl Valve Cover Question

Post by rekognize »

Just wondering if the b6 and bp valve covers are interchangeable?

I'm talking about the newer bp's with valve covers that look like b6de's

they my look the same but there not interchangeable. if u really like that plain looking valve cover on a bp u can use a 1st gen kia valve cover and grind off the kia symbol. in doing that it will look like the b6de valve cover and fit on a bp. but it won't fit on the bp due to the black plate between the cam gears and cly head.
