Going from Maintenance to a labor of love

Post by nos92mx3 »

Well Last night while crawling around under the mx3 replacing the very rusty brake a fuel lines and tank i figured i would undercoat it again while i was there.
The previous owner had it undercoated several times before i owned it so i thought nothing of it, until i found my first hole :( then another , and another.

needless to say its time to replace the old welder and get some sheet metal and go to work.
annoying to say the least, i was hoping to have the motor back in it this weekend and being able to tune the squirt monday.

Morale of the story, dont live where snow flys

It's not the snow...
Snow= :mrgreen:
Excessive Salting of Highways= :crying:
I lived in Ft. Drum/Watertown NY for a few years, so I feel your pain. Come to think of it, Germany's about as bad. We don't really get alot of snow here, but they love to throw down salt all winter long :rant2:
