Got this email Wednesday Morning....

A pick up has been arranged to have this shipment picked up by our Detroit office by 15:30. I left at message for Jarid at ***-***-****. I will provide the new AWB # and transit time to Jarid as soon I receive this information.

THEN got this email this morning.....

I spoke with the freight carrier, R&L Carriers late yesterday. He is obtaining a bill of lading from Purolator and will pick up package from Detroit warehouse today and deliver directly to Oregon address.

Basically another week lost and nothing really done with the package...Hopefully it leaves today for the right shipper.

Another hour on the phone just now to find out that purolator should be picking up the box today. Oscar I have a contact name in management to get a discount on the shipping of this package.

ANOTHER email just now....now purolator ISNT taking the package...

Hi Jarid

I apologize for not following up with you earlier, I was out of the office yesterday and just came into the office. I just spoke with our office in Detroit, they had arranged for a LTL carrier, R & L, to move your shipment directly from UPS Detroit to Damascus, OR rather than bring it to back to Purolator Detroit office. I suppose the R & L driver was not familiar with this type of move and asked UPS to provide him with a new AWB # . Purolator's office and R & L have followed up with the driver and he is scheduled to pick this shipment up by 16:00 today and move it directly to Damascus. I will contact our Detroit office at 17:30 to confirm pick up and then will update you.

you need to call and speak to the head of the department thats handling this or even hire up, this is total BS...

I did! LOL. And yes I totally agree this is total BS. EVERYONE I talk to about shipping will know NOT to ship with Purolator.

there should definately be some deep discounts not necessarily free but there's no excuse for this much hassle - NO EXCUSE. I work in customer service for a living and this is unacceptable.

I guess USPS and CP are the only options

I'm glad this is almost over and you've 'almost' have your package in hand. I must say CJ, they've put you threw some &^$%!!! - Very suprisingly you never really lost your cool. If it were me, I would have stuck some C4 to some company's building.
