Rear wheel bearings w/abs gear cheap in Canada?

Post by nightfire »

Does anyone know a place shipping rear wheel bearings (disc brakes w/abs) to Canada for a reasonable price? Napa wants almost $200 each. Can't find any on ebay.

Holy crap my front ones were only $62ea. from the Dealership. I'll call my parts girl fer ya and check.

EDIT Sorry man $180 hub a--. ASB that's the best price I got. But ya Rockauto is good only problem is 96 will only be listed as a 4cly on almost every site in the States so see if the 4 is the same as the 6cly first. Cheers

Edit Edit. I think the medication kicked in last edit, sorry.

I know you believe that you understand what you think I said but I'm sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

I went through this recently. All the hubs are the same. All years, all models. The ABS ring just presses on.

They also interchange with Protege, 323 and Escort. You may be able to find a better deal on one of these cars. I got a very lightly used set myself from another guy's part out. My dealer was asking $130ish each w/o ABS. The tone rings are $70 each though so if you're going to try to salvage your old ones, don't break em.

lol :p

Yea, the rear bearings come with a hub whereas the front bearings have to be pressed in. That's why they're cheaper. :/
