"Quality Post" forum?

I wish there was a way to promote or place a "quality" post section.


Those threads that are 3-4 pages long with diagnostics or a perpetual problem where everything is tried and the answer is finally answered? Those threads that have a jumble of not really "faq worthy" information but are super interesting?

Stuff like... interchangable parts, or just neat stuff to know... like the ultimate spark thread, or some of fowljesse's other random posts... I personally like my soundproofing thread, I think it would be neat if there was a thread of just "cool stuff to read through" forum, stuff for ideas, for improvement. I would love to just sit and read through the super cool stuff, for new members to read through super cool stuff said 35 pages ago, that are easy to find.

I think this is an awesome idea. If someone was delegated to go thorough the old posts, and find the really good ones, they could put them in a FAQ. OR, anyone could put in a thread that they found particularly helpful, and they could be voted out, if necessary.
If this doesn't happen as it's own thing, we could start a "Best threads" thread, and just have people post links with a brief explanation.

even a "links page" everybody just find one quality post and then post the link into one forum and title what the post is good for.

There is so much cool stuff that I forget about or haven't read. I imagine there are many others that are missing out as well. Meh.

Ummm, basically you guys are asking for what we already have.
The FAQ section is meant for utting the quality posts and commonly asked questions into.

Wel, then, let's do a General FAQ, with the quality posts in it.

Even better, we could pick our favorite topics, and condense the pertinent information, and present it for the FAQ.

"technically" these are and are not frequently asked questions. More like, "information that's neat to know"
not everyone knows about acetone, so it's not technically a "faq"

However, a "resource zone" where all the general information can be accumulated makes it quick, easy and fun to peruse the "best of" MX-3.com
