For what CorkSport said, they think they remember it being riveted on, but as they said too, it's been over half a decade since they've last seen once. I've 99.99% sure I'll be getting that window one way or another....that's the only one I want to have in my CF hatch. As much as I'm anxious to get it, not only for myself, but so everyone can finally see what that elusive part is, I just don't think anyone will want to wait as long as it'll take before I get it, but we'll see how I feel in the next few weeks

No pics yet. Work this past week was delayed; what was planned to have been completed by last Friday is actually the aim of this week.

We are still ahead of schedule, hang in there.

I was hoping today to have time to get some pics of the developments but at this point theya re unwaranted and further we have a small dilema and I need your help.

The part which is partitioned on our hatches to form the opening for the small glass is the part which is causing some headache, not to mention there was no hardner in the mix...don't ask...

Anyways my concern regards what gets mounted in the gap. It appears the third brake light is mounted in there; is there anything else other than trim?

Some ideas I have is to make a second part which is the gap and then glass it in afterwards which might be the easiest way but more time consuming and tooling needed. Of course MY cost now goes up but not yours (Arg!)

Anywho. let me know if i'm forgetting anything about that portion...

If it helps, I can make the little window out of Lexan for everyone, for like $5. That way you can simplify that whole area. I can take pix of mine to show what I mean. I'm going to relocate my brakelight to the top of the glass, anyway, and if everyone does this, it would make the whole thing more simple, and you'll gain about 125% visibility through that window.

if it came down to it i wouldnt be upset if the lil window dissapeared. I was looking at my hatch yewsterday and couldnt figure out how you were going to be able to make the mold.....
