Not sure...I'm sure some shop could rebuild or refurbish the electric motor, but it may be easier/cheaper to just replace. My drivers side motor is getting really slow. Looks like I'm going to have to replace it or at the very least take the tracks apart and clean and lubricate.

My drivers side window wasnt working at all, so I just replaced the window motor and assembly with a used one. It worked, but was a bit slow, so I took it out, and greased up the wire and pulley. It is much faster now in general, but still slows down once it is 3/4 of the way up. Seems there is friction somewhere - maybe in the window rubber?

It seems odd that your passenger and drivers windows were both equally slow. I would expect the drivers side to wear out sooner.

Since this topic is hot at the moment, are there any grounds you can clean up? If the ground connections are bad, you would have higher resistance through the motors circuit, causing them to run slowly :)

That was going to be my suggestion, If both windows are equally slow. Maybe it isnt getting enough power to them. Maybe a ground that is starting to corode ect... Just a thought.
