if I remember correctly the rx8 ran a 14.2 bone stock...

I've beat some before but I would attribute that to inexperience on the rx-8 driver's behalf....

what about if we get on a rollin start ?
i mean ... since all that talk about the RX8 not having torque at low rpm's ...
what about if we pull 2nd gear ... at 25mph ? can i stand a chance ?

14.7 on stock rx8, im not sure about the 08' model. so stock ze will be a match.

saturday we are going to have the MAZDA Portugal day
When the movie is made, i will post it like last year
There will be a Mazda CX-7, a 2.0 MX-5 and a RX-8 in order to have a test-drive for everyone
If i can, i will try to pull a gear against the RX-8 ( in closed circuit )

Rx-8's don't seem to be that quick. Once crusing up to the Ottawa Meet we got a call that some guys left late and weren't far behind, so we were going to pull off at the next exit. A guy in the an Rx-8 didn't have an FRS radio. He was up front of the pack and i was behind him, so i figured i'd signal him to get off at the next exit. Well, I get beside him and well he thinks I want to race and he takes off. Well I didn't have a hard time catching up and getting beside him to tell him to get off at the next exit. lol
