Is this the end of my K8 ?

Hello guys ...
a few weeks ago i had a major breakdown with my MX3, since my gearbox went bye bye ...
I got a refurbished one, and the car goes fine right now.
The only thing is ... since the car was stopped, i asked my autoshop to make some mods to my car ... they installed my new Denso Iridium Sparkplugs ... and raised the fuel pressure a bit on my stock fpr
The car really is faster now, i can go 180 kmh in places i couldnt go beyond 170kmh ... the car goes like crazy
But there is something not smelling right, really !
I mean , if i go WOT with my car for about 1/2 a mile or more ... when i stop the car, it smells like it's burning !
And i mean really burning ... it even smells like burned paper ! from the exhaust !
What could this be ?
too much fuel right now ?
too much sparkplugs temperature ?
the end of my K8 ?
what's going on ?
The car let's some white smoke go out when WOT, but it clears on idle ...

odds are if ur ripping around at 180..your motors just about pooched..maybe that smell is you cooking your breaks slowin down ...i would suggest goin back to the stock NGK plugs if i was you tho..i did alot of searching before i changed mine and it seems the motor runs better with the stock plugs....how many kms are on your motor? i have 250 thousand and my motor smokes white on WOT aswell..i also burn a little bit of oil...start shopping for a klze.

The car is fine right now, it had the oil level at the minimum ... and i really need an oil change...

When your running high RPMs like that low oil is not very good. You can end up with all the oil up in the engine and the pump sucking air hense no lubrication and parts wearing faster.

speeking of the end of a k8..i lost to a friggin sunfire the other day..a SUNFIRE!!!! it was a gt model and 5spd, but still...

Check your cat, it may be burnt out.

If you are running your oil on a minimum and ripping 180km/h (why would you do this anyways) then what do you expect to happen to the motor. Its getting worn out. Take care of the thing

solo, dont doubt for a minute, that this car (K8) is going to make in 2008 ... a 14.99 or less , 1/4mile ET
wait for next month
and alllways N/A ... no slicks , no nitro

I guess I didn't realize you had a video (my bad) do you have a link to it and more importantly is it first person (inside the car) or third person (outside the car watching you go down the track)?

it's FPD ( first person driver ) since i was all alone in the track , my GF stayed at home ...
There is one drag recorded from outside against a Saxo, because i gave my camera to a friend just for that drag ...
