Rear camber adjustment

My daughter just bought a '94 MX3. I'll be getting the car back into a safe, driveable condition for her. Mainly struts, brakes, etc.

First major concern is the drivers rear wheel has EXTREME negative camber. The rear strust are SHOT. I'm not sure that worn struts could introduce negative camber.

What are the adjustments for the camber? Are there simply cam-bolts? Or is there more?

You can view all the pages of the Mazda repair manual for the 95' model which is almost exactly the same as your 94'. Page R36 shows the best view of the rear suspension components. For camber to be seriously affected either something is bent or broken or the struts are significantly lower than stock. This is a common problem encountered when cars are lowered with aftermarket lowering springs or coil-overs. Camber plates are available but fairly expensive. Camber bolts are cheap but have limited effectiveness.

If it's only one wheel which is affected, I would suspect that something is broken or bent. Inspect the strut body and piston. Look for a broken spring. A pinch bolt missing between the strut body and the spindle would do it. Look at the images in the manul and then inspect the car's suspension thoroughly. If the camber is as bad as you say it should be pretty obvious what's wrong.
