Do you have a spare ZE distributor? Looking for one for my 96. I see your using a KL02 VAF as well, I noticed an increase in performance when I swaped out the JE50.

Yep spare disti. Was thinking of keeping it "just in case" since they can be expensive to replace but I'm real low on cash these days; PM me with your offer.
I felt more power with the JE50 but couldn't afford the 200-300kms per gas tank mileage I was getting. The sweet spot for me was using KL02 and disconnect the FPR. Running on the KL02 ran lean and I was getting misfires at first. The FPR unplug fixed that and I was still getting 400-450kms per tank.

I was told to get a VFPR and set it at 45psi. Funny, with the KL02 mine isn't running lean at all. A little rich if anything. I only had one cyl misfiring and fixed that. It was a bad SP. Love the computer interface of the OBD2. So you thought the JE50 gave you better performance?

Ya, definitely. Especially at high RPM's. Hopefully my MS-II will set everything right. Just need to find someone who can install it locally.

PM'd last nite re: ZE disty. I'm going to try unplugging my FPR just for the heck of it. If it worked for you maybe it'll improve performance for me. Worth a shot.

I actually found the most performance came from using the JE50 with FPR unplugged. It idled rough as hell but at WOT it flew, lol.
