KL62 - General question about this ECU

Post by RX8SE3P »

Dunno if this is the wrong forum but this sees more replies so I might try my luck here!

Is the KL62 ECU usable on a straight neck KLZE engine? My MX-3 is an OBDII, would it's wiring harness fit this ECU and would the engine run fine or not?

The other option for me is probinator chip to my stock K8 ECU. Which would be better?

Ryan has no chip for an OBD2 ECU. He also has no plans to develope one last time I spoke with him. Your 96 ECU will work fine and from what I know it's the only ECU you can use. Use a KL02 VAF, adjust your TPS and Idle (top of TB screw) and MDS window switches will correct your VRIS if that concerns you. Then enjoy your new found Honda a** kicker.

I know you believe that you understand what you think I said but I'm sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Damn so I can either root around with this window switch thing, which I will now have to learn, and go and buy a KL02 air flow meter.

What about if I got OBDI wiring and a KL31/36 ECU, would that make things better?
