Oh, I'm running a ZE tranny (millenia). If you want to keep your current K8 transmission you'll need a quaife kit (expensive.. like $1500). my only complaint on my ZE is that the gears are too short (still using the K8 tranny, but with 6 puck clutch and fidanze pressure plate, K8 flywheel) and i've been told to go with a DE tranny. dont get me wrong - the car hauls a-- and the clutch really puts the Hp to the road, but having to shift gears so fast is annoying.
so i guess i'm wondering if your having the same problem, since you say 1-2 go by so fast.
also - where can i get an LSD for my K8 tranny? would it be the same if changed up to the DE tranny?
When I say gears go fast, I mean relative to 3, 4 and 5
