Someone got a hold of a set and found that they, likje most any light, would work, but would need a body shop willing to install them and make the hood, fenders and bumper work with them. They are not close to a 100% fit so they are not "easy".

Even the guy who did the Miata headlights, despite how similar they are, said it took a fair amout of custom work to get then to fit, which I think included cutting some of the body.

I wish there was another way, or easier way to make projectors. After reading one post on here, I just dont see paying $750 for projectors. Is it really worth that much money for just headlights?? Im just gonna have to find someone that can do a retrofit for me.

I agree.
I'm not hating on it just because im a cheap bastered (which i am), but people are just about comparing this to the price of a turbo kit (yeah kits are alittle more, but anyways).
Thing that upsets me is your everyday civic can get projectors for $300 and under all day long. I'm very suprised the mx-3 isnt more popular then it is. are people stupid?

It's not that people are stupid, it's just that the Honda has sold massive amounts of Civics year after year, worldwide, allowing for after market vendors in the business of selling Civic projectors a very, very profitable business to be in.

Now, as the Mazda MX-3 is concerned, albeit, a much overall better looking vehicle IMO, any after market vendor, that considers making projectors for our cars, already knows that 1) it would have to be a limited run on the projectors, based on the fact the our car was only for sale for a few years, vs. how many MX-3s' may be on the road still, vs., how many people will actual buy the projectors in the first place. And 2), that same vendor, or vendors, would have to consider if it'S also feasible to make such a projector for the MX-3 based on research and development cost, (and whatever else may be involved) meaning that the price tag for high quality MX-3 projectors could possibly be in the $600 to $800 price range, just so the vendor can turn a reasonable profit.

This is my opinion, but I'm certain all I said above pretty much is the reality of the situation.

Yeah, I understand what your saying... I guess this is something we have to deal with, right?
Hell, I feel lucky to even be driving this car. Some people think it's just another vehicle. I think it's an awsome and sexy ride.
I heart my mx-3

they do look like they will fit fairly easy, will definitly look good if someone does it right. But i still think OEM with HID's is my taste, or glass e-specs.
