Intake Manifold swap

If I have a straight neck intake KLZE engine and I am able to get a Curve neck intake with TB, fuel rails and the sensors am I able to swap them out or do I need to buy adapters. Just wondering if the process is a simple remove and put curve neck on? Any DIY you guys and girls have on this swap would be awesome too, thanks.

Its as easy as taking the straight neck off and putting the curved neck on, the sensors are all the same, just may not be in the same spot.

you want to find an "MS8" intake from a millenia i believe...there are a few out there, but harder to find...Im pretty sure it has the same sized fuel rails and ports like the "ZE" intake, and youll get the 10ish hp back and it will fit in the MX3...
Goto PGT/mx6 newsgroups and see if anyone wants to trade the ZE intake for an MS8 intake as they will fit under the hood of an MX6 and or PROBE GT with no problems...The "ZE" intake wont fit a under the MX3s' hood and wont close plus brake booster would hit also...I guess u could cut the hood, but that might look ugly? Hope this helps

The curve neck doesnt fit under probe hoods, they need to cut the hoods not us. Get a millenia one from the wreckers or check probetalk or mx6.com for ones for sale.
