bad a-- unit does it all easy to watch while you drive ... not like some new ones. this thing is a great buy u can find them refurbed for $600-700 online too if u know wgere to look.

Thanks for the reply wagZE. I got the AVIC-D3 unit a about a week or so after I posted this topic.........And the unit rocks BIG TIME! 
I've traveled out of town to all kinds of diffrent places using the Navigation.... and it is spot on. The DVD playback video is good, and there's so many different options standard on it, that I would have to write over 3 paragraphs to explain it all. The sound options alone can make your jaw drop.
